St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
It has been a well-rounded season for the Patriots, with good performers with bat and ball both. With the bat, Evin Lewis and Laurie Evans have been the most consistent at the top, with 256 runs and 219 runs respectively. However, the x-factor player has to be Fabian Allen who has smashed 212 runs and is no muck with the ball either. He has only 2 wickets this season and has potential of being a better wicket-taker.
There’s no substitute for experience and that’s why Rayad Emrit has been among their most valuable players in CPL 2019, with 11 wickets and 54 runs in 10 games this season. His experience should get him a place in your fantasy team while Sheldon Cottrell is back in the playing eleven too. Alzarri Joseph could also be a good part of the side, coming in place of Dominic Drakes who hasn’t been at his best in recent games.
Trinbago Knight Riders
Right at the top of the order, Lendl Simmons has had a great season with 4 fifties in 9 innings and a lowest score of 11 runs which he achieved thrice. He is only the second after Chris Gayle to score 2,000+ runs in CPL history and that shows what a consistent player he is. Captain Kieron Pollard has also had a good season with 300 runs in 10 games, to go with 6 wickets. He has led the side well in the absence of Dwayne Bravo.
Dwayne’ younger brother Darren Bravo joined the squad later but he has been good with 125 runs in 6 games including a fifty so he’s surely part of my Nostragamus (sign-up with “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy picks. With the ball, James Neesham is their top wicket-taker and his ability with the bat will be a bonus here. There’s no update on Sunil Narine’s injury as yet, while Mohammad Hasnain has left to be with the national side.
