Both can be handy with the bat too.
The captain Imad Wasim is one of my favourite Pakistani cricketers and so far, he has 5 wickets and 75 runs in this tournament but has the potential of being a match winner on his day. With the bat, Asif Ali is the team’s highest with 227 runs but in the last 3 games, he only has a best score of 28. Instead, I’ll pick Umar Amin who has 206 runs in this tournament and is in good touch, scoring 43 in the semi final as well.
Balochistan
‘All-rounder’ Amad Butt was one of my first picks in the last few games but he has gone wicketless in his last two outing, having 8 wickets in 6 games so far. However, he played a vital knock of 29(14)* in the semi final to take his team across the line. I’ll pick him again. Another very experienced bowler who has many T20I records to his name is Umar Gul and he won’t be in many fantasy teams considering he has only 4 wickets in 6 games.
With the bat, Awais Zia is a must have in your Howzat (sign-up with code “READ1234”) fantasy team and I’ve been picking him in every game so far. He has a lowest score of 22 in 6 games, to go with 2 fifties and is the tournament leader with 248 runs. He has three scores of 31 and will be dying to get past that figure. Your wicket-keeper pick can be Bismillah Khan who scored two consecutive fifties but now has only 24 runs in the last 3 games.
