Another double header at the 2019 National T20 Cup and we have another exciting match up here. Game 5 of the tournament sees Northern Punjab in action once again, after winning their opening game yesterday. Skip his opening partner Ahmed Shehzad. Also in the batting line-up are the Akmal brothers and you can pick Umar Akmal because he’s a T20 specialist who scored 34(28) in the last game.
With the ball, opening bowler Waqas Maqsood ended as their top bowler in the last game with 3/32 in 4 overs and he is a cheaper fantasy pick. Usman Qadir and Faheem Ashraf also picked up 2 wickets each and Ashraf should make your team as he also had a good season with Northants recently where he picked plenty of wickets. Qadir has experience as he played in the recent Big Bash League for Perth Scorchers in Australia.
Northern Punjab
It wasn’t the best start to the series for captain Imad Wasim who scored 7(11) and went wicketless in the last game but he is one of Pakistan’s best limited overs all-rounders and there’s no way you can leave him out. Wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir is the captain of the U-19 team and he has pounded plenty of fifties and centuries at the lower level in the last 4-5 months. Pick him even though he failed with 4 in the last game.

He usually bowls more than just the 2 overs he bowled in the last game but he still managed a wicket and also scored 24 with the bat.
