The other wicket keeper from Tigers is D Subramanian and he bats too low down the order for my liking. Tare can be your vice-captain as he will be a majority of teams’ captain today. Shardul Thakur missed the last game so I’ll avoid him.
There will be a rise in popularity in fantasy contests for the player Kaushik Chikhalikar who scored 56 but I’ll skip him here and go for all-rounders. Young Sarfaraz Khan loves T20 cricket and had his most successful IPL before MPL 2019 and I’ll pick him even though he failed with 13(7) in the last game. Remember, he also bowled and picked up a wicket. The next all-rounder is Sagar Mishra, who bowled economically and seemed like he deserved more wickets.
Aakash Tigers
It was fantastic to see Arjun Tendulkar do well in the opening game of MPL 2019, opening with the ball and batting at #3 for Tigers. Regardless of whether you are a critic or a fan of this youngster, you must select him in your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team and as captain or vice-captain. A full quota of overs is likely as well as the added chances of batting because of his position.
Shams Mulani is one person to watch out for. He didn’t manage any wickets but gave away only 26 runs. He could be your x-factor player as he also gives it a heavy swing in the lower middle order. Openers Aakarshit Gomel and Kaustubh Pawar both did well in the last game and you could consider playing both. The only problem is that Tigers lack a genuine all-rounder with the exception of the junior Tendulkar.
