He had a rare failure with the bat in the last game with a score of just 1, but Akhil Herwadkar has been brilliant in this season of Mumbai T20 thus far. With IPL experience on his resume, Herwadkar is one of the first names on my fantasy team and I’d pick him as my vice-captain or even captain. However, in T20 cricket, as far as possible, I’d like to have all-rounders getting double points in my fantasy teams.
Shubham Ranjane is that perfect bet for me batting at #4 and occasionally even being thrown the ball. After a few starts, he scored 71* int he last game and he was also a key player in MPL 2018 too. Captain Kevin Almeida has 57 runs in 4 games and just 1 wicket, so I’ll skip him from my team. Tushar Deshpande is my bowler pick but Iqbal Abdulla is also a worthy selection considering he has 4 scalps in his last 2 games.
Eagle Thane Strikers
ARCS have been winning all their games batting first so it would be wise to field first if ETS win the toss. In T20s, choosing an opener always makes more sense and that’s why I’ll pick Kaushik Chikhalikar, who has had two consecutive single digit scores but his 56(41) in the opening game was very impressive. On the other hand, Sachin Wagh came in with a big reputation but hasn’t done anything this tournament so far.
Aditya Tare has 146 runs in 3 innings this year icnluding 2 fifties and even though he bats in the middle order, he’s my obvious wicket-keeper selection. Don’t miss Sarfaraz Khan either, whose 57* in the second game was impressive. All-rounder Sagar Mishra is a must-have in your Dotball (Sign-up and get INR 51 FREE) fantasy team while Ankush Jaiswal is a good pick with the ball.
