Get ready for the 2021 English Women’s Regional T20 which will see the domestic women’s teams of England taking part in a T20 competition between 26 June and 5 September 2021. The Women’s Cricket Super League ended in 2019 so this will be the first edition of this new tournament, organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). 8 teams are participating in it, divided into 2 groups of 4 teams each.
Known as the 2021 Charlotte Edwards Cup, the finals will take place alongside the 50-over tournament of the women’s domestic circuit. On the opening day, we only have Group A games and it begins with Match 1 which is Lightning vs South East Stars. The opening game will take place at the iconic Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
