It’s going to be the most historic series of the decade so far as Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) have arrived for their tour of Pakistan, with some newbies and some of the legends of the game expected to be a part of the action. To begin, we have 3 T20s, the first of which will be played at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium. There will be one 50-over game being scheduled in between the T20s.
The tour begins with a T20 game against Pakistan Super League side Lahore Qalandars, and they surely begin as favourites. which is one of the better sides in the country. Lahore Qalandars
The side will have an attacking opening partnership in Chris Lynn and Fakhar Zaman. Lynn has just had a fabulous season at the 2019/20 Big Bash League but I’ll pick Zaman instead, who has had a couple of fifties in his last 10 games and obviously, will be more comfortable playing at home. Mohammad Hafeez scored 67* in his last T20I here against Bangladesh and is in good touch, while he’s been cleared to bowl again too.
With the ball, we have a couple of young stars who were called up to play in the Big Bash too. Haris Rauf starred for and had a great season with the Melbourne Stars following which he could even make his debut for the national side, where he bagged 2 wickets in 2 games. Dilbar Hussain is another random pick that no one has seen much of. He was smashed for 56 in 4 overs on BBL debut but picked a wicket, and is one to watch out for.

Former wicket-keeper batsman and Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara will lead the side and you have to pick him in your PlayerzPot (Use Code “READ1234”) fantasy team because of plenty of good innings in Pakistan over the years. Another person with immense talent and experience around the world is Ravi Bopara, who recently finished a successful BPL stint in Bangladesh. He can also be your LAHvs MAR fantasy team captain if he’s playing.
Now then Ross Whiteley is vaguely known but let me remind you, he is one of few world batsmen to smash 6 sixes in an over in a professional match. Though he only has a best score of 36 in his last 10 games, he’s worth picking. Scottish bowler Safyaan Sharif is one of the best in his country, with 17 wickets in his last 10 national matches, so there’s no reason to skip him from your fantasy team.
