I’m going to go heavy on the all-round contributors even if they haven’t don well so far. Captain Amit Verma is my first choice who went wicketless with 0/27 in the last game and scored only 14 which means there won’t be many teams picking him. However, he has had a good domestic season and is the biggest value pick in this game.
The next default pick is Jagadeesha Suchith and you must have him even though he was wicketless and went out for 1 run in the last game. He’s always in the game and also has IPL experience after recently making his debut for Delhi Capitals. Someone new who can potentially make us good fantasy points is Aniruddha Joshi who picked 1/23 in 2 overs and even scored 26 batting in the lower middle order.
Belagavi Panthers
Opening with the ball and then opening with the bat. These are the type of players to add to your Howzat (sign-up with code “READ1234”) fantasy team and here, we’re talking about Stallin Hoover. He has always entertained in past editions of KPL and although he didn’t make much points in the first game, he’s always involved in the action. Expect him to do better than 10(11) and 0/18.
18-year old Shubhang Hegde batted way down at number 9 and managed 14(7) while also bowling out his quota – 0/34. He has played a string of India U-19 games since the start of the year and has a best score of 69 and also a bowling best of 3/59 so he’s a must have. Ritesh Bhatkal is another all-round option you can consider – 0/24 and 27(20) in the last game.
