Though we think Sam Curran hasn’t been all that effective with the ball in IPL 2020, he’s their top wicket-taker with 10 scalps in 9 games and he’s a must have since he now also opens the batting for CSK.

With 5 single digit scores in his last 7 innings, Sanju Samson is now no longer someone I’d want to be picking, especially since his position in the top order is uncertain. On the other hand, Robin Uthappa keeps getting better with each game, and is especially good while opening, so this new role will definitely help get the best out of him.

Uthappa opened with Ben Stokes and while this is someone I’d always want in my fantasy team, opening isn’t for him. I’d rather have him going out later and finishing the innings.
