It’s Match 20 of IPL 2020 and the table toppers Mumbai Indians is set to play yet again, this being their 6th game of the season already. So far, they’ve managed 3 wins in 5 games, losing to RCB and CSK and they’re up against Rajasthan Royals today at Abu Dhabi, having lost all of their last 4 games to Rajasthan, since the latter returned after suspension in IPL 2018!
Rajasthan has struggled to get powerplay wickets, so don’t rely too much on their strike bowlers, while Mumbai has played 3 of their 5 matches so far at this venue. However, the batting first advantage seems to be very evident in the IPL 2020 season so far. Keep reading for our complete My11Circle (Get Rs.500 Bonus*) fantasy preview of the BLR vs DC game…

Mumbai Indians
Since the Rajasthan opening bowlers haven’t been among the wickets early on, we’re thinking it’s a right move to have both Mumbai openers in our MI vs RR fantasy team – Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock. Captain Sharma has a couple of fifties while QdK also hit some form in the last game. In fact, we’ll also go one and pick Kieron Pollard who has been brilliant in the death overs in IPL 2020, with 163 runs and being dismissed just once.
Hardik Pandya is back from injury and is playing as a specialist batsman only. so we’ll take the risk of leaving him out for his brother Krunal Pandya who smashed 20(4)* in the last game and has also been bowling brilliantly in the last couple of games. We’re still unsure of the fitness of Nathan Coulter-Nile but with 7 wickets in 5 games, we think James Pattinson has done well to keep his place in the side.
Rajasthan Royals
After having started IPL 2020 with 2 consecutive fifties, Sanju Samson has slowed down and had scores of 8 and 4 after that. He might be forced down the order if Rajasthan decide to bring back Yashasvi Jaiswal in place of Robin Uthappa. Yashasvi was the top run scorer at the recent U-19 World Cup and he should be in your MI vs RR fantasy team. Ben Stokes has also joined the team but isn’t available for this game as his quarantine hasn’t ended.

Ankit Rajpoot is a good pick for your My11Circle (Get Rs.500 Bonus*) fantasy team since he’s played 2 games and got 2 wickets each. We think he can come in to replace Riyan Parag, with the latter not contributing much this season. With Mahipal Lomror contributing well in the last game, Parag may most certainly get the boot. With 47 runs in 3 games so far, Jos Buttler hasn’t hit his groove yet but he may be up for it against his previous team here!
