Another spinner to watch out for is Amit Mishra who has 157 career IPL wickets and has the chance to top that IPL list, with Malinga missing. We believe Ishant Sharma picked up an injury during training!
The likes of Stoinis, Sams and Carey will arrive late after their England tour and we’re not sure of whether they’ll be ready in time for the first game. With 3 fifties and a century in his last 8 international games for India, captain Shreyas Iyer is one to watch out for in IPL 2020! Like him, keep an eye out for Shimron Hetmyer who began CLP 2020 with a couple of big scores and we think he can repeat the same here!
Kings XI Punjab
Talking about overseas players, we have a couple of Caribbean batsmen in Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran in KXIP who are almost certain starters today. Pooran is super talented and could light up this IPL after a recent century in the CPL 2020 while Gayle hasn’t played professional cricket since Jan this year! Mujeeb Ur Rahman is another certain pick while we’re unsure of who will be picked between Neesham and Maxwell!
