After a rollicking start to the tournament, Sanju Samson suddenly slowed down with only 12 runs in his last 3 games and now when he’s going to be less popular in fantasy leagues, I’m picking him again because it’s Sharjah and you need to always choose the maximum number of batting options. As for Steve Smith, he hasn’t had a great impact on IPL 2020 so far and it’s best we leave him out of our RR vs DC fantasy team.

With the ball, Jofra Archer has been hostile with consistent speeds of 150+ kmph being delivered but he would like to have a few more wickets under his belt, with only 5 in 5 games so far. We’re picking him along with Tom Curran because both of them can contribute with the bat if needed, considering this is a super fragile middle order. Ben Stokes will miss out again, set to return for their next game.

Delhi Capitals

The pace attack is being led by Kagiso Rabada who picked 4 wickets in the last game and now has 12 scalps in 5 games, the tournament leader by far but let’s not forget about his countryman Anrich Nortje who has only 7 wickets but has bowled as well through IPL 2020 so far, if not better. If I had to choose only one, I may even go for Nortje since he has more variations to offer the T20 game.

If batting first, Pant is a good pick since he can come and give it a whack but his average slightly drops in chases.
