Only Piyush Chawla has been consistently bagging wickets so he makes my team and we saw a little bit of vintage Sunil Narine in the last game, which means you should pick him too, even if KKR decided to send him to bat lower down the order again. He got a couple of wickets and the ball turned quite a lot on this spin-friendly pitch. Narine could even be your vice-captain.
It’s now or never for KKR in IPL 2019 and they may even decide to bring in an extra seamer in the form of Australia’s Matt Kelly. The added pace could give them the chance of early wickets and he could come in place of Carlos Brathwaite. A couple of days back, I would’ve chosen QdK with my eyes closed but DK’s 97* in his last game turned out to be his highest IPL score. Batting lower down the order, he can be a real game changer. However, KKR’s pacers haven’t been taking early wickets which means plenty of runs for Qdk in the powerplay overs, so pick the southpaw for your fantasy team today.
Anukul Roy had a decent debut with 1/11 and he should certainly keep his place on this spin-friendly pitch. If you are playing a grand league in fantasy cricket today, pick Roy as there were only 4% takers for him in MI’s last game. The Pandya brothers are a must while Rohit Sharma at the top is a good option, especially considering he scored his first 50 of IPL 2019 in the last game and also has a good record at Eden Gardens.
