It’s not his express pace but his experience that has changed things and I’ll be having him in my fantasy team while the likes of Saini and Siraj are now also good options. Parthiv Patel also finally converted to a fifty in the last game which has taken so much pressure off Kohli and ABD. The team looks like a well-oiled machine at the moment.
Moeen Ali is certainly going to be my captain for this game. His ability to change the pace of the game and striking at 169 in IPL 2019, coupled with his knack of taking wickets means he’s my main man today. Also, AB de Villiers has 4 fifties in this tournament and scored 59* in the reverse fixture, which makes him my vice-captain for today. Expect RCB to play an unchanged eleven.
Punjab
Chris Gayle has been the biggest x-factor so far for Punjab. He and Rahul have both looked good with 50+ averages for both, but Gayle has been slightly more dependable. Also, Gayle plays better when he has reasons to perform and playing against his former IPL team is one major reason. If you remember well, Gayle also scored 99* in the reverse fixture while Rahul had a rare failure.
One unsure starter is Mujeeb Rahman and a decision on his fitness will be made on match-day afternoon. One player I’d like to have in my fantasy team for this game is Mohammed Shami. He has picked up 11 wickets so far in IPL 2019 and has also got a wicket in each of his last 5 games for the team. Another wicket-taking option could be Ravichandran Ashwin, who also has 11 wickets this season.
