It has been a long series because we had many schedule revisions in the 2019 ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Cup in Sri Lanka. Finally, each team managed to get two completed games in, with India Women winning both their games and topping the points table. They beat SL-Women and PAK-Women in their round robin games and now, they face off against Sri Lanka Women in the final.
SL Women lost their opening game against India but then, beat Bangladesh Women by 4 wickets and more than 15 overs to spare. With 1 win in 2 games and a higher net run rate than BAN Women, the hosts progressed to the final, which will be played at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
