These two played each other only once in the IPL so far and in that game, Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill scored fifties. Saha is pretty clear with his role in this GT side and we’re picking him in our GT vs MI fantasy team along with captain Hardik Pandya who came out to bat at number #3 in the last game and though he played a slow knock by his standards of 66(50), his confidence is definitely high going into this game.

When they played last year, it was Rashid Khan who was the chief destructor with 2/24 in his 4 overs and we’re sure he’s going to be among the wickets again, currently among the leading wicket takers in IPL 2023. Mohammed Shami has been looking great with the ball, and we’re expecting early wickets in the powerplay, with a bouncer or two expected to be bowled to Rohit Sharma early on. In the death, Mohit Sharma will be tough to get away, and we’re picking both in our GT vs MI Dream11 team.

Mumbai Indians

While Rohit got 43(28) against GT last season, he has a weakness to leg-spin and it’ll be a good battle between him and Rashid Khan. Talking about battles, expect a few good ones between the GT batsmen and Piyush Chawla. We think he’ll tempt the likes of Hardik with slow, loopy, leg-spins, and may end victorious as well. Chawla has not gone wicketless in any of his last 5 matches in IPL 2023, after a wicketless first outing against RCB.

Tim David and Cameron Green came good in the last game but we’re unfortunately not good enough to get MI across the line.
