It’s a trend among lesser known cricketing nations to play not one but two T20s in a single day. Just earlier this month, Germany played Belgium in a series of 3 T20Is, of which the first two were played on the same day itself. Similarly, Germany now play Italy as both the teams are touring Netherlands. They play a series of 2 T20Is, both of which will be played on 25th May in Utrecht.

With the bat, Daniel Weston is the likely opener and he also becomes your wicket-keeper pick. Asad Mohammed is a good all-rounder option.
Italy
Gayashan Munasinghe is the captain of Italy and he seems to be your best bet with the ball, having taken 13 wickets at the 2013 ICC World T20 Qualifiers in UAE. Also with the ball is Bangladesh-origin Rakibul Hasan who will surely trouble the Germany batsmen and with his recent form, he could even be made captain or vice-captain, considering he is handy with the bat as well.
Another must-have in your Dotball (Sign-up and get INR 51 FREE) fantasy team is Bentota Joy Perera. The Sri-Lankan born hasn’t crossed a single score of 50 in his last 10 games for Italy, but he has easily been their most consistent player including a couple of forties and a couple of thirties. Expect him to do well but Germany to win this first ever clash between the two sides.
