First things first, we’re going to pick those who have been doing well this series. The first name that comes to mind is Eoin Morgan who hasn’t done well per se but with scores of 42 and 23, he’s got starts in both games and will be eager to convert one into a big score. The same can be said about Joe Root who has only 40 runs in 2 innings and he’s desperate for a big one, as people are beginning to doubt his inclusion in the ‘Fab Four’ now!
Talking about good performers though, you can’t leave Jofra Archer out because he’s bagged 6 wickets in 2 games and he’s picked up wickets each time he’s been brought on by his captain. More than him however, I’d like to have those with all-round abilities in my ENG vs AUS fantasy team like Chris Woakes who had a brilliant day with the ball in the 2nd ODI and he has memories of big scores with the bat here too!
Australia
We talk about pacers doing well in England and then there’s Adam Zampa who has bagged 13 wickets in 5 games on this tour so far, yet to go wicketless since arriving in the country and he’s one of my first picks today. The next would be Marcus Stoinis more for his batting than his bowling because he seems to be better when promoted up the order! He scored only 9 in the last game but that was because he got a ripper of a delivery!

Apart from him, I’d also like to pick Mitchell Marsh, again more for his batting than his bowling in today’s your Nostragamus (Use “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy team. Mitch proved how important experience is with 73 in the 1st ODI and his bowling would be a bonus but we don’t see him bowling too many overs. Picking captain Aaron Finch is a must because his score of 16 in the 1st ODI was the lowest he’s had all tour!
