If you missed the last game then you missed one of the best T20 games ever as Australia managed to give away a winning game which they actually had in their pockets by the 15th over itself. One thing we know is that 160 is a pretty decent score on this pitch, where all 3 T20s of this series will be played and we also know it could be a good game for bettors, as the momentum kept swinging both sides right through the game.
England will breathe a sigh of relief after the last comeback but they know they still have areas where they can improve. Their fast bowler department was brilliant but it would be nice to see some more stability in the batting if they want to go ahead and beat the mighty Aussies yet again. England
After scores of 71, 20, 46 against Pakistan, Tom Banton got only 8(10) in the last game and it’s because he was dropped down to the middle order and I’ll skip him for today’s ENG vs AUS fantasy team because of this role change. Instead, I’ll pick Jos Buttler who scored a test hundred and now, hit 44(29) in the 1st T20I which means he’s clearly in great form and we can expect him to keep scoring runs at the top.
As for Jonny Bairstow, he seems to have slight troubles with the swinging ball at the start and we’re leaving him out as well with a couple of failures in a row now. In the bowling department, Mark Wood got only 1/31 in his 4 overs but he was bowling some serious pace which could be a major threat through this series and he’s out there to prove himself after the continuous inconsistencies in his selection in the national side.
Australia
Now at the top, David Warner had a few poor scores in the practice games but he scored a fifty which makes it three consecutive fifties in T20Is right now, making him an obvious threat (nothing you didn’t know already). Glenn Maxwell failed with 1 in the last game but he picked 2/14 in 3 overs and remember, he got a hundred in one of the practice games here in England, so he’s in fine touch himself.

Another all-rounder much like him is Marcus Stoinis who swing for the gates in the last game but he couldn’t get the over the line; he should still be in your Nostragamus (Use “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy team with 23* in that game. If you want to go in for a specialist bowling pick, choose the pacer Kane Richardson who got 3/13 in the last game and is in good rhythm at this point of time.
