The Emirates D10 2020 began 3 days ago but we’re on a 2-day break now. With 4 games packed in a daily schedule, we’ve completed 12 matches so far and in Match 13 on 29th July, we have Dubai Pulse Secure in action once again, having won only 1 of their 4 games in this T10 tournament so far in the UAE. They’re 5th out of 6 teams on the Emirates D10 points table right now!
They’re taking on Team Abu Dhabi who is the only team below them on the points table, also having 1 win in their 4 games so far, but with a lower net run rate and they’ll be desperate for a win as they play Dubai for the first time in this double round robin format tournament. Keep reading for our complete PlayerzPot (Use Code “READ1234“) fantasy preview of the DPS vs TAD game…

Numbers

Dubai Pulse Secure
Unlike most other teams in the T10 format, Dubai Pulse has gone on to maintain the same opening combination across all four games so far. One of their openers is Fahad Nawad and he’s been brilliant for the Dubai franchise, with a lowest score of 25 in 4 games which is great for this format. Along with him, with 67 runs in 4 innings, is Adnaan Khan and both openers should be picked in your DPS vs TAD fantasy team.
Another very important part of this middle order is Faisal Amin who has managed 70 runs in 4 innings so far but more importantly, he’s got 2 wickets and has bowled his quota in all but one of the 4 games played by the side. He’s a good option to have as fantasy captain or vice-captain. Another person who will have both batting and bowling influence in the match is Fahad Al Hashmi, so he can be picked too.
Team Abu Dhabi
Former Zimbabwe captain Graeme Cremer is now a regular player in the UAE domestic circuit and being one of the most experienced players in the league, choosing him is almost a no-brainer, though he has been slightly more expensive that one would’ve expected. However, let’s keep our focus on the top order batsmen and that’s why Rameez Shahzad should be picked, with 2 fifties in 4 innings thus far.

His opening partner has changed and in the last two games, Ali Abid has filled that spot and he’s done well so far to score 45 runs in 2 innings, which is why he should be in your PlayerzPot (Use Code “READ1234“) fantasy team today. Rizwan Ali is someone who bats in the middle order and can contribute with the ball two, picking a 2-fer in the last game, so he shouldn’t be missed either.
