Your undoubted wicket-keeper pick for today’s fantasy team becomes Morne van Wyk because of the amount of experience the 40-year old brings to the fore. He is up against Titans’ Rubin Hermann so MvW is an easy pick. After a few single-digit scores, captain Khaya Zondo smashed 53* in his last innings for Dolphins and he can be a good choice for today’s captain or vice-captain. Also remember Andile Phehlukwayo returns to the side and is a great pick.
Someone who hasn’t been having the greatest of runs so far is Cody Chetty but this guy is among some of the most explosive batters in the South African circuit. I’ll pick him and back him to bounce back. As you can see above, Prenelan Subrayen has been good this season whenever they get to play while Robbie Frylinck is another must-pick because of experience and abilities with bat and ball, both. Frylinck is my vice-captain fort his game.
Titans
Henry Davids is someone you can’t miss out on for this game and for the entire tournament. I’d like to have Farhaan Behardien in my fantasy team as well, but he bats very low down in the order, so I’d pick Diego Rosier instead. Pack your team with batsmen especially since the Titans bowling unit hasn’t been as good so far this season.
The young and bustling Junior Dala is someone I wouldn’t miss out on picking in my team for today and the rest of this CSA T20 tournament. Theunis de Bruyn has also showed good form and his position at #3 means he will get a better chance to bat as well, so he makes my team.
