After a slew of games were washed out due to rain and some others had their overs reduced, we’ve finally been getting some games at the 2019 CSA T20 Challenge. Now, we’re all set for Match 16 of the tournament, with Warriors taking on Cape Cobras. Cobras happens to be the only team in the competition to have not got a washed out game and they are sitting pretty at the top of the points table.
They have 4 wins in 5 games while Warriors have only managed 1 wins in 5 games. However, they have been unlucky with 3 washed out games among these. We’re set now for this vital clash and you can keep reading for our complete PlayerzPot (Use Code “READ1234”) fantasy preview of the Warriors vs Cobras game here…

Warriors
Warriors have a nice little opening pair to give them a good foundation in Gihahn Cloete and Matthew Breetzke. Cloete has been making good scores since a while and even in the Momentum One Day Cup before this. What that means is that he will be very popular in the fantasy league and that’s why I’ll be picking his partner Breetzke for this game.
Coming in the middle order is JJ Smuts, who is the captain of the Warriors and will be my captain for the day as well, as he can be pretty handy with the ball too. The trio of Andrew Birch, Lutho Sipamla and Sisanda Magala. Birch and Sipamla make an easy entry into my fantasy team for this game.
Cobras
Kyle Verreynne hs been on a brilliant run for the Cobras and he is my wicket-keeper pick, even though he is up against a tough talent like Sinethemba Qesile. David Bedingham scored 50 in the last game which means Cobras almost have a semi-final spot confirmed. However, I will skip him for this game as T20 means you need those players who bat higher up the order.
With the ball, Cobras have Rory Kleinveldt and Vernon Philander, both of whom have a lot of international exposure as well as a lot of experience in the domestic circuit. Kleinveldt has a total of 8 wickets in 5 games so far in the 2019 CSA T20 tournament and he is pretty handy with the bat as well, so he is my vice-captain for the day.
