Barbados Tridents are the defending champions of the Hero CPL 2020 but sadly, they’ve not been able to get their season up and running this time. With only 2 wins in 6 games, they’re low on confidence especially after yesterday’s match where they gave away a winning match, being unable to defend 66 runs off the last 4 overs against a super confident Kieron Pollard and Trinbago Knight Riders.

This CPL 2020 season was discovered a new champion player and that is Kyle Mayers who has hit two consecutive big scores (42 and 85) and he’s the perfect acceleration needed in the middle overs; he has 2 wickets to his name as well. Like him, the captain Jason Holder is also the perfect all-rounder pick who has only 20 runs in his last 3 games but he’s a good innings anchor and has 6 wickets in CPL 2020 so far too!
Spin has been the king in this tournament so far and hence, you can’t leave out Rashid Khan who has 8 wickets in 6 games and the good part is that we’ve seen him being promoted in the batting order as well. They have the Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner in the side too, who is a handy batsman and he bowls in the powerplay where he’ll be looking at taking an early wicket or two against a weaker St Lucia batting order!
St Lucia Zouks
In that St Lucia batting order is Rahkeem Cornwall who is good but bowlers have found out his weakness which is the lack of agility. Mark Deyal has shown promise but there’s no intent of playing the long innings, so I’d jump straight to Roston Chase who I’m picking because of his international experience and because of the fact that hes done well in CPL 2020 so far with 156 runs with the bat and 5 wickets with the ball.

Chase is a fantasy captain or vice-captain option while another similar option for my Nostragamus (Use “READSCOOPS” for Rs.100 FREE) fantasy team is Mohammad Nabi who has been regularly among the wickets with 9 scalps and a best score of 35* so far. In the middle order, his countryman Najibullah Zadran has shown glimpses of his talent but only managed a top score of 33 with the bat so far.
