The 2022 Road Safety World Series is finally here and we’ve got our first double header of this second edition to keep you all entertained for the day. Bangladesh Legends will be in action in Match 2 of RSWS 2022 and they’ll be hoping to get on the board this season. In the first edition, they lost all their matches except for one against Aus Legends, which they managed to get points from because it was a walkover.
They’re up against the Caribbean magic of West Indies Legends and it’s going to be very difficult to get past the latter, because they’re a much stronger team than what they were last season. They’ve roped in a couple of players who retired from the game not even a couple of months ago. Keep reading for our complete MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) BD-L vs WI-L fantasy preview…

Numbers
- Head to head in this tournament, WI Legends leads 1-0.
- Alok Kapali – at least one wicket in all of his last 5 List A games.
Bangladesh Legends
If there is going to be someone who can help them get wickets in this game, it will be Shahadat Hossain as he’s still only 36 years old and won’t struggle with fitness as much as the others will, so we’re picking the BAN Legends in our BD-L vs WI-L fantasy team today. A lot of experience comes in the form of Alok Kapali who was known during his playing days for his contributions with the bat but he’s been picking up regular wickets in the domestic circuit back home.
Wicket-keeper batsman Khaled Mashud is now 47 years old but he got three unbeaten scores of 6, 28, and 31 in the last Road Safety World Series so we’re expecting him to stick it out and get a few runs in RSWS 2022 as well. Since three of the top six bowlers in the last edition of this tournament were left-arm spinners, we obviously then can’t leave Abdur Razzak out of our BD-L vs WI-L Dream11 team, as he can be quite deceptive.
West Indies Legends
The side is being led by Brian Lara but we see a better batting option in Narsingh Deonarine who scored 59 and 53* in his last couple of outings in the RSWS 2021 series, so we know he can get among the runs once again against the similar bowlers he faced last year. Dwayne Smith will open the batting for them and from what we saw last season, he’s likely to bowl his quota too, so the experienced all-rounder can be your fantasy captain or vice-captain too.

Sulieman Benn was among the top wicket-takers in the last season and bowling slow let-arm spin from the height he bowls at, is sure to get more batsmen in trouble at RSWS 2022, so pick him in your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) BD-L vs WI-L fantasy team. Not the oldest of the lot, Krishmar Santokie was a revelation for WI in T20 cricket and his variations might land a couple of Bangladesh Legends in trouble today.
