Natalie Sciver was one of the best performers in the recent ODI series with 79 runs to go with 4 wickets in 3 games, so pick her if your budget allows. Leading the wickets charts for England Women is Anya Shrubsole with 5 wickets in her 3 games and 25 runs with the bat too, so you can pick her. If you wish to go with experience, Katherine Brunt should be your first choice. Danni Wyatt and Jenny GUnn have been left out of the squad.
Australia Women
Regardless of format, Ellyse Perry is always my first pick when Australia Women plays cricket. She had a tremendous ODI series which saw her pick one 5-fer and also end as the leading wicket-taker, and scoring important runs too. If playing a one-on-one contest, it makes sense to make her your captain while if you’re playing a grand league, a more risky pick as captain is suggested. Meg Lanning will captain the team, with 103 runs in the recent 3 ODIs.
Beth Mooney is expected to open the batting with Nicole Bolton and I’ll definitely have the former in my Howzat (sign-up with code “READ1234”) fantasy team, especially after her cracking 101* in the 1st innings of the recent warm-up game. Another century in that game was Ellyse Perry who scored 112 in the 2nd innings.
