Australia is favourite once again as we move to the MCG and if they win here, the series will be wrapped up and the Ashes urn will stay with the hosts. Two changes are made in the Australia team for the Boxing Day Test as Jhye Richardson and Michael Neser pulled up sore and captain Pat Cummins returned along with Scott Boland being handed a Test debut but we’re not sure if we want him in our AUS vs ENG Dream11 team. Nathan Lyon has also been below par in this series so far, and he has only 34 wickets in 10 games here, so we won’t include him either today.

Instead, we’ll be picking Mitchell Starc for the first time in our AUS vs ENG fantasy team this series, as he’s proved to be a strike bowler and picked up wickets at all times of the day during the Tests. With the bat, David Warner missed a ton in both games and we think the consistency will continue while we think Marnus Labuschagne has been the best of the lot so far, moving on the number #1 in the ICC Test rankings as well.

With only 51 runs in 4 innings on this tour, people think that it’s the end of the road for Rory Burns who has been replaced by Zak Crawley in this game. Other changes include Jonny Bairstow, Jack Leach and Mark Wood coming in for Stuart Broad, Ollie Pope and Chris Woakes. I’m a bit surprised to see Pope being dropped as he’s attacking by nature and is good in the field too. Happy to see Bairstow being given a chance as well.
