Bahrain began with an embarrassing loss against the hosts but they came back strong to beat Maldives in their next outing. Bahrain
The side is being led by 40-year old Anasim Khan but I’ll leave this player out of my fantasy side because he hasn’t been able to contribute with either bat or ball. One particular person I’ve been mighty impressed with is Junaid Niazi who picked up a couple of wickets in the last game and also scored 24* coming to bat at #10, while he was also their 2-down batsman in their first game of this tournament.
While it’s not much, 17 and 24 were the two scores for Shahbaz Badar and I’m picking him in by BAH vs QAT fantasy team because he’s been slightly consistent in these 2 games. Sarfaraz Ali was the man of the match in the last game after he plundered 50(22) and before that, he got a score of 11, while he has also bowled in the last 2 games, though hasn’t been able to pick up a wicket yet. X-factor – Abdul Majid Malik.
Qatar
Both the Qatar openers have shown fine form, and I’d like to pick both in my PlayerzPot (Use Code “READ1234”) fantasy team for today, especially Kamran Khan who has 3 fifties and a lowest score of 23 in his last 5 matches for Qatar. On the other hand, Zaheer Ibrahim had a good Qatar T10 League and I picked him though he scored 1 in the first game here, going on to score 39(33) in the second game.
Someone who is perfect for this T20 format is Mohammed Rizlan who smashed 31(18)* in the first game but got a golden duck in the next. I’ll pick the wicket-keeper batsman regardless. With 2 wickets in each game so far, Tamoor Sajjad has been their best bowler so far, giving away only 37 runs for 4 wickets in his 8 overs. He bats in the middle order too, and has managed scores of 5* and 22*, yet to be dismissed too.
