For those who don’t know yet, the Pare franchise won the inaugural edition of the competition (APL 2023) after beating Kamle Cobras in the final.
The rain delayed game in Dimapur saw the APL 2023 final being a 12-a-side overs game, where Pare Warriors scored 113/7 and then ended up winning by a narrow margin of 2 runs. Fun88 India decided to partner with this champion side, as the latter tries to defend its title in the 2024 edition of the tournament.

Additionally, they’ll also be present on all of APL’s website and on-ground promotional activities, adding a lot of value to both the brands in question. The two brands posted a collaborated post on Instagram to announce this news to their followers, as you can see above. Expect to see plenty of Fun88 branding during the APL Season 2 matches, which will all be live-streamed on Fancode, if you have a paid subscription. The league also onboarded JSK1 News as their title sponsor ahead of the second season.
You can expect many more such announcements from Fun88 in the months to come, as they’ve been aggressive in the Indian market in recent times. The partnership will not just help both brands monetarily but this will help cricket grow in states like Arunachal Pradesh, where you don’t see too many national-level cricketers emerge from.
