Team India cricketer Ajinkya Rahane will be on top of the world as he took to social media today to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy. One of the biggest gentlemen in the game that we’ve seen over the years, Rahane posted an image with a small note to let his followers know about this good news for him and his wife Radhika, along with just the ‘🙏’ smiley as the caption.
“This morning Radhika and I welcomed our baby boy into the world. Both Radhika and the baby are doing well and are completely healthy. We’d like to thank you for all your love and blessings,” said the note he added to his social media update. His post was greeted with hundreds of likes, comments, retweets, and several messages of love, blessings, and wishes.

Now 34 years old, Rahane has been an important part of the Indian Test side over the years and while he’s had a poor run of form in the last 12-15 months, many believe that he still has something in him to contribute at the highest level. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rahane represents the Kolkata Knight Riders now, having also played for clubs like Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Mumbai Indians.
Rahane married Radhika Dhopavkar in 2014 and the couple will be delighted with the news of their baby boy.
