The Super50 Cup 2019 has just completed a couple of days and we’ve seen some thrilling action already. Today, 3 more games are scheduled in this tournament and among them is one where USA plays West Indies Emerging Team. USA will be playing their first game of the 2019 Super50 Cup while Windies Emerging will be playing their second game, having lost the first to Guyana.
Unlike Canada, USA won’t be sending a complete junior squad to this tournament which means they can be strong contenders today while Windies ET will want a win too, especially after losing the first one off the last ball, and by just 2 wickets. Keep reading for our complete Fantain (Use Code “READ123”) fantasy preview for the USA vs WIE game…

Numbers
- Head to head in this tournament, these two play for the first time.
- Saurabh Netravalkar – only 4 wickets in his last 10 games.
- Karima Gore – 17 wickets in last 7 international games for USA.
- Cameron Stevenson – 6/91 in last U-23 FC game in Australia.
United States
The team will be led by the experienced Saurabh Netravalkar and I’m picking him only because he will surely be playing, as he hasn’t had too many runs or wickets in recent games. Someone who has been getting wickets recently is left arm spinner Karima Gore who picked 9 wickets in 4 games in Lauderhill recently against PNG and Namibia. Additionally, he can bat when his team needs him to, with a best of 31 in his last 10 games.
Ali Khan and Hayden Walsh Jr refused USA contracts and they aren’t with the squad for this tournament. On the other hand, Cameron Stevenson and Ian Holland are set to make their USA debuts, both having migrated from Australia recently and Stevenson also playing in the Big Bash League. our captain or vice-captain pick for today can be the destructive all-rounder Steven Taylor.
Windies Emerging Team
Surprisingly, it was the young and inexperienced Kimani Melius who led WI Emerging in the last game and I’m adding him to my Fantain (Use Code “READ123”) fantasy team even though he has only 1 fifty in his last 10 games. Middle order batsman Justin Greaves top scored in the last game with 55 and he’s a definite pick since he played in CPL 2019 and also got one fifty there this year.
Son of West Indian pacer Vasbert, Dominic Drakes was one to watch out for and he’s begun the tournament well with 2/32 in the opening game where Keon Harding ended as the top bowler with 4/35, so you can pick both of these in your bowling department. If you need an addition batsman in your fantasy side, I’d recommend picking Roland Cato who had a good FC season earlier this year, with consistent scores and a best of 103.
