You feeling hot? Well, we’re pretty sure you’re not as bad off as some place across the world. As the heat is turning up across the planet, everyone’s attention is turning to some of the hottest cities in the world. According to weather forecasting website El Dorado, 10 of the world’s top 15 hottest cities are in India in the last 24 hours!
The list is being updated every 24 hours and currently, 10 Indian cities feature with Rajasthan’s Churu right at the top, having touched the 50 degrees Celsius mark two days in a row now. Heat wave conditions have been predicted in 26 of 33 districts in the state of Rajasthan by the MET Department, so it’s a bad situation at the moment.
On 19 May 2016, Churu recorded a maximum temperature of 50.2 degrees Celsius and we’re very close to that record being broken as well, if things don’t get better. The only relief expect is that the MET department has also predicted thunderstorms between 29 May and 2 June because of climatic disturbances from Afghanistan and cyclonic circumstances in Punjab.

So, wherever you are in the world, please be thankful that you aren’t based in the city of Churu, where people will literally be burning up at this point of time. Rajasthan capital Jaipur has also recorded 45 degrees temperature which is around 7 degrees more than normal, and there were a few cities from Pakistan also featuring on the list of hottest cities in the world.
We already have problems like coronavirus and now even locusts, so heat waves will probably be the last thing on everyone’s minds. For more updates from the city and weather conditions from across the world, stay tuned to ReadScoops.com.
