Yesterday (29th August), the legendary American singer and dancer Michael Jackson would’ve turned 59 years of age. However, a cardiac arrest on 25th June 2009 took away the ‘King of Pop’ from this world too early, when he was just 50 years old.
Michael Jackson was succeeded by 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl), and yesterday, his 19-year old daughter took to Instagram to commemorate her late father’s birth anniversary. A cute childhood picture of her with MJ, along with a touching caption is what she posted as a tribute, with caption:
“Birthday wishes to the love of my life, the one person who showed me what passion truly was, the one that gave me solid morals to live by and how to dream. i will never feel love again the way i did with you. you are always with me and i am always with you. though i am not you, and you are not me, i know with all of my being that we are one. and our souls will never change in that way. thank you for the magic, forever and always.”
His daughter Paris is the second of his three children, and the only child to ex wife Debbie Rowe. Today, she is a model, actress and an activist and has close to 2 million followers on her Instagram account. The world definitely misses MJ today – the entertainer who was taken away from us too early.
It has been 59 years since the world was blessed with Michael Jackson. Eight years since his death, his music still lives on and continues to inspire us. We pray that his soul may rest in peace. An example of what an entertainer he was:
