Probably one of the busiest and more crucially, among the most important airports in the world, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai decided to take a break from all flights operations today, 10th May 2022. The airport will remain shut for 6 hours on this day to carry out maintenance.
Easily the busiest city in India, Mumbai is super busy on the road, on rail, on water as well as in the air. It’s the first time in many years that we’ve noticed such a scheduled maintenance, which has been announced to carry out pre-monsoon work in the airport. Both runways RWY 14/32 and 09/27 will remain non-operation on Tuesday, 10th May.
Mumbai airport closed
As per reports, the CSMIA airport will remain closed for as many as six hours on May 10 between 11am to 5pm, and travellers were advised to double check their respective flight status before travelling to Mumbai, or departing from there too. Regarding the close or flight operations, a NOTAM was also issued in advance to all airlines.
