Numbers
- Sabbhineni Meghana in last 7 matches – 8, 0*, 4, 9, 8, 0, 1.
- Nahida Akter – 18 wickets in her last 10 professional games.
- Murshida Khatun – 26, 13, 33 in three T20Is last month.
India Women Emerging Team
The Indian team will be captain by Devika Vaidya who hasn’t had a lot of professional exposure in the last year or so. She comes into this game with just 1 wicket in her last 6 games including a few for India Women, one at the Women’s IPL and another for the BPXI Women’s team. Her last major score of 104 came for India A Women in April last year. Nuzhat Parween will keep wickets but he has never had big scores with the bat.
The Indian assigned vice-captain is Sabbhineni Meghana and I’ll skip her because it has been months since she last got a decent score. In fact, since she last got into double digits. Tanusree Sarkar picked 4 wickets in her last 2 games for India A Women last year, and considering she bats in the middle order, she’s a potential all-rounder selection for your fantasy team.
Bangladesh Women Emerging Team
Captain Shaila Sharmin is a must-have as she’s a regular part of the national side even having played a few T20Is last month. She bats in the middle order and while she doesn’t have many big scores recently, she picked 2/9 in her last game against Thailand Women. Her involvement in the game is why I’m picking her. Another regular part of the national side is Nahida Akter and she has 17 wickets in her last 8 T20Is.
With the bat, someone you shouldn’t miss in your MyFab11 (sign-up with code “READAD46“) fantasy team is Murshida Khatun as she has been scoring consistently for Bangladesh Women in recent games. Three T20 internationals in Dundee last month and she made sure she had a start in every game. X-factor bowler – Islam Trisna as most people don’t know a lot about her and her bowling style.
