Being one of Ripple’s biggest partners in Japan, SBI Holdings has been over time continuously supporting and promoting cryptocurrency solutions in the country and now, they’ve made another big announcement. As per the company, they are set offer bonus payouts in the form of the XRP digital asset to customers who participated in its Security Token Offering (STO).

“We are pleased to inform you that we have decided to carry out an offering (Security Token Offering, hereinafter referred to as ‘STO’). This STO is a self-offered form of public offering in which the Company itself solicits and allocates corporate bond-type security tokens (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Digital Corporate Bonds’) issued by the Company to customers,” said the official announcement.
Yoshitaka Kitao, CEO of SBI Holdings, also shared the news on his Twitter account, confirming this is the first of its kind STO for the company, where XRP was being offered as a benefit.
