Two weddings have taken place in the last few days in India. One was the Jonas-Chopra wedding and the other was that of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. On one hand, everyone has been gaga over the ‘DeepVeer’ wedding, while there have been quite a few people questioning how long the Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas marriage will last?
Both leading ladies in Bollywood, Deepika is enjoying a lot of love from her fans, while people are wondering whether Priyanka Chopra’s marriage will go all the way. Another website called The Cut even published an article called ‘Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s Love For Real?’ However, this was not enjoyed by the audiences and the website later took it down, saying, ‘Upon further editorial review, we found this story did not meet our standards. We’ve removed it and apologize.’
The Indian Bollywood actress is 36-years old while the American singer/actor Nick Jonas is just 25, which has caused concern among fans of both the celebrities. However, their future is in their hands and not in ours. We can express our concern but the duo know exactly what they’re getting into.
The Jonas-Chopra Wedding!
Talking about the big-fat wedding itself, it was an extremely grand event that took place in Mumbai, Jodhpur and Delhi. The families had arranged weddings and rituals of both the Hindu and Christian castes. For the Christian wedding, Piggy Chops had a 75 feet Tulle train which became the butt of all jokes on social media, with people comparing it to things like a cricket pitch. The couple even had an 18-feet cake while her silver-blush lehenga designed by Falguni Shane Peacock is said to have taken over 12,000 hours of man-work and 80 craftsmen to complete.
All things kept aside, we wish the couple a happily married life and we can’t wait until they decide to bring in little Jonas-Chopra babies into this world as well.
