Why should you watch Aarya Season 3?
Created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, Aarya is one of the most successful Indian OTT series till date. Today 3 Nov 2023, Aarya Season 3 goes live on Disney+ Hotstar and the entire country is getting ready to binge watch this show, which is easily one of the career-defining performances of yesteryear actress, Sushmita Sen.
The Indian crime-thriller drama series is back for its third edition and for those who haven’t watched the previous couple of seasons, we’re going to tell you why we think Aarya Season 3 is a must-watch, but we’d also recommend catching up on the first couple of seasons before you come to the third. The Hotstar Specials series went live in 2020 for the first season and is the most talked about show in India right now.
1) Can’t miss Sushmita Sen
Like we mentioned above, it’s the most significant role of Sushmita Sen’s career and her lady-boss like role in the series has won her a lot of praise in the last couple of seasons of Aarya. Fighting local and Russian mobs with the sole intent of saving her family, Aarya Sareen doesn’t shy away from any challenge, even if that means that she needs to get her hands dirty from time to time.
2) Topsy turvy plot
From what we’ve seen in the first couple of seasons, Aarya Season 3 is expected to be as tumultuous as the first two editions. There’s blood thrown around generously in this thriller web series, and the producers don’t think twice before ending any of the characters, even if they’re immediate family members of Aarya. It’s bound to keep you on the edge of your seats, always.

3) A new rivalry awaits
At the end of Aarya Season 2, there’s a cliffhanger wherein we’re shown Aarya becoming the new boss around town, dealing directly with the Russians. However, she was responsible for Nandini’s death and a new rivalry begins now as she receives a call from Nandini’s husband, Sooraj Raizada. Played by Indraneil Sengupta, he’s a new addition to the Aarya Season 3 cast, and it’s bound to get a bit dirtier now.

4) Possibly the last season?
In the Aarya Season 3 trailer, we see Aarya taking a bullet to the chest and falling to the ground, in front of her children. Now she has been shot in the previous season as well but the way this scene was depicted, it makes us wonder if Aarya Season is the end of this web-series franchise. At the time of the hit too, she’s giving a dialogue talking about what happens at ‘the end of things’.
