The pair has worked together on the hit police show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Jake Peralta and Pontiac Bandit as they are known on the series have delivered some awesome comic timing. Their chemistry on the show has been brilliant. Fans would be waiting eagerly to see this epic comic duo, well on the same side of the law for once.

Also to star in the movie is rapper Common who will also be the co-producer. Despite being a successful rapper Common has played a few roles in movies such as Date Night, Terminator Salvation, John Wick: Chapter Two.
Award-winning author Adam Mansbach is set to write the screenplay for the movie. Mansbach’s debut screenplay was Barry, a film based on Barack Obama’s life at Columbia University. His book Go the Fuck to Sleep is a No. 1 New York Times bestseller.
