The much awaited Game Of Thrones (GOT) Season 8 is officially coming back in 2019, HBO had announced on Thursday. This year and a half long gap between the penultimate and final seasons will be the longest wait ever for those desperate to know which family will end up on the reputed Iron Throne!
All the first six seasons of this series have 10 episodes each unlike the last two seasons. Season 7 of the series aired in the second half of the year while the previous seasons of the show had aired in the first half of their respective years!
Much to the delight of the fans, the final season of GOT will be shot with multiple endings just to avoid the story being leaked ahead. This practice is being followed because some of the episodes of Season 7 were released online early by the hackers in 2017.
However, at this very moment it is still unknown at what point in 2019 the final season will be aired, but the final season of this fantasy series will consist of only six episodes. Season 7 had seven episodes, several of which were over an hour long.
