Loki Episode 2 Out Now on Disney Hotstar

After a massive end to a 20+ movie series that ended with Avengers: Endgame, Marvel is now branching out into TV shows on digital platforms across the world and one of them that reached an OTT platform near you only last week was Loki. It depicts a completely different story altogether and a side of the God of Mischief that not you or I or anyone would’ve imagined so far.

The series is screening exclusively on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar and there are a total of 6 episodes lined up in Loki Season 1. These episodes are releasing once every Wednesday which means die-hard Loki and Marvel fans have a lot of waiting to do over the next month and a half. However, it’s all going to be worth it (we like to believe) as the show has a current rating of 9.1/10 on IMDb.

From what we saw in Loki Episode 1, we’re taken to a time in between the first and last Avengers movies. It represents the time period from where Loki steals the Tesseract and he’s taken to a whole new world that he wouldn’t have believed even existed. At the end of the first episode, we got a sneak peek into what to expect from Loki Episode 2, with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) hunting the other variant of Loki!

Sorry for the spoiler but Loki Episode 2 reveals a Lady Loki (Sophia Di Martino) who may not be known as that in the Marvel series but she’s only referred to as the ‘Variant’ of Loki. However, we’re not surprised it’s a lady under the hood because Marvel has taken a liking to female roles now, with Natalie Portman playing Might Thor (female Thor) in Thor: Love and Thunder.

The God of Mischief decides to follow his female variant and that’s basically what Loki Episode 2 is all about, while it further builds the relationship and bond between Mobius and Loki. One thing we will tell you is that this pursuit brings about a completely different side of Loki’s character, one which we’ve been accustomed to seeing for many years. More about the female Loki will be revealed in Loki Episode 3!
