Hollywood Movies To Watch Out For in February 2018

We are already a month into 2018 and we’ve had some good movies in the month of January so far, which we reviewed last month. Let’s continue our search for the anticipated movies to be released in the month of February:

1. Black Panther

This superhero movie is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War. After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the fictional African nation called Wakanda to take his place as the king. As the enemies are rising to bring down his kingdom, T’Challa must use his full powers as the Black Panther and with the help of Dora Milaje-Wakanda’s legendary special forces he must prevent the catastrophe and save his people and the world.

Black Panther is officially the most anticipated superhero movie ever.

  • Director: Ryan Coogler
  • Starring: Chadwick Boseman, Michael Jordan, Lupita Nyongo, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman

2. Annihilation

This one is for the sci-fi buffs. Imagine this, a group of soldiers wander into a mysterious area called Area X. Only one of them returns who is grievously injured. To save the soldier’s life, his wife, a biologist volunteers for another expedition into the zone to figure out what the hell happened.

It’s my personal favourite Natalie Portman in the movie and I can’t wait for it!

  • Director: Alex Garland
  • Starring: Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Oscar Isaac

3. Winchester

I am pretty excited about this horror movie starring the evergreen Helen Mirren. Sarah Winchester is the widow of gun manufacturer William Winchester. The death of their child and her husband has left her in serious grief, she believes that she’s cursed by the ghosts of the people who died at the hands of Winchester firearms.

She decides to build an enormous mansion that’s designed to keep the evil spirits at bay but when a psychiatrist visits the house, he discovers that her obsession is not what it seems from the outside. The movie has created quite a ruckus among the Sam and Dean fans (Supernatural fame).

  • Director: The Spierig Brothers
  • Starring: Helen Mirren, Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook

4. Every Day

It’s a romantic mystic drama film which shows a 16 year old girl, who falls in love with a mysterious spirit named A, a travelling sould who wakes up each morning in a different body, living a different life every day!!  Pretty exciting right?

How can you love someone who is literally a different person every day? As they try to find each other on a daily basis, unsure of what and who the next day will bring. This is an exciting and a curious plot, hope it delivers.

  • Director: Michael Sucsy
  • Starring: Angourie Rice, Maria Bello, Debby Ryan, Jacob Batalon, Justice Smith

The fight reaches new heights when they compete for the affection of a kind animal lover who lives next door.

  • Director: Will Gluck

An erotic romantic drama, this is the final instalment in the Fifty Shades trilogy. The film foolows the life of the newlywed couple Ana and Chris as they deal with the sins of their past. A former boss and a former lover pops up, only to make matters worse for them.

  • Director: James Foley

7. The 15:17 to Paris

A young caveman and his wild boar friend unite their tribe to save their home from an evil Lord and his Bronze City by playing a game of football. They receive an unlikely help from a Bronze City resident.

Animated movies are always fun to watch and this one promises to be more like the same. Lets football with the Early Man!!
