The HBO series drew in over 10 million viewers per episode consistently in Season 7 and the much anticipated Game of Thrones Season 8 is all set to premier for the first time in a few hours from now. In 2016, GoT won 12 Primetime Emmy Awards, making it Emmy’s second-most successful series of all time, and in case you don’t know what all the hype is about, you’re at the right place. Season 8 of the adaptation of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ by George RR Martin’s series of fantasy novels begins today, 14th April (USA). The decision to launch this series finale in April 2019 came over a year back in January 2018.
In India, the show will start streaming on 15th April at 6:30am IST only on Hotstar Premium. Each Monday, a new episode will release at the same time and will eventually come to an end on 20th May.
