The Boys Season 1 released on Amazon Prime Video and it was an instant superhit, a show depicting super heroes and super-villains. More recently, Amazon Prime released The Boys Season 2 and just like the first season, we had 8 episodes in all, with the latest releasing on Friday, 9th October 2020. Episodes were out every Friday and finally, viewers have reached the end of yet another riveting season.
The Boys Season 1 ended with knowing that Homelander had a son and the Season 2 finale was also very intense, with Billy Butcher losing his wife Becca (SPOILER ALERTTT) and everyone coming to know that there is in fact another supe (superhero) who has a secret agenda. All through the season, we see heads exploding right from the first time it happened with Raynor until the end when it happened with Alastair Adana losing his head too.
At the end, it’s revealed that Congresswoman Victoria Neuman is the one behind all those deaths and quite honestly, not a single person would have imagined that. In fact, we saw an interview of the actress who plays Victoria and apparently, she had no idea until she saw the script to Episode 6 herself. Clearly, there are stories that have answers pending and there’s no doubt that The Boys Season 3 will be back and will be as catchy as the previous two!
Clues to have known
Clearly though, the makers of the show did give some clues away during the season. Let’s go back to when the first time it happened and Frenchie was all hysterical about how it happened and who could be behind this. Immediately, the screen fades out to the Congresswoman so for those of who had our eyes and ears opened right through, we might have even guessed this was possible.

At the end, A-Train is accepted back into the Seven but Deep isn’t , so we know that Deep’s story hasn’t ended here. With Maeve and Starlight clearly having gone against Vought and still being a part of the Seven, they have stories yet to be completed as well. We’re assuming Homelander’s son Ryan will have a major role to play in The Boys Season 3, a show which is actually based on a comic, in case you didn’t already know.
Of course, Victoria Neuman will have a massive role to play in it all and we can only assume that she will be the antagonist of Season 3 of The Boys. Considering that the show ends with her giving a job to Hugh Campbell (protagonist), we can assume that she will use him as a pawn in her plan for Season 3, and we hope that plan will be revealed to us in the first few episodes itself.
