Who said Christian Bale’s only hot project was Batman? The actor has proved time and again how good he is behind the cameras and he was recognized for it earlier today at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton, California. Hosted by Adam Samberg and Sandra Oh, the latter even had to collect an award for herself, for ‘Best Actress in a TV Drama’.
Bale was awarded one of the most prestigious awards of the night, being named the best actor in a comedy/musical film, while the female award of the same category went to Olivia Colman for her role in the movie ‘The Favourite’. As for Bale, it was his performance as 2001-2009 Vice President Dick Cheney in the movie ‘Vice’. The nominations were released earlier in December 2018.
Another film that made a huge cry in the last couple of months was none other than Bohemian Rhapsody, which showcased the life and career of the late legend, Freddy Mercury. The movie did well not only in theaters, but also in last nights Golden Globe Awards, taking away the Best Drama Film Award, while Rami Malek won the best actor in a drama film for his outstanding performance in the biopic. There’s was so much of buzz around the film, right since the trailer released in May 2018.
