Inside Edge Season 1 released a couple of years back and those 10 episodes had us all glued to our screens. I personally finished off the season in a single night and there hasn’t been a better digital series or movie or show on cricket so far in this country. Me and everyone else I knew were all waiting eagerly for Season 2 which has taken its time to reach Amazon Prime, more than 2 years since the original season. It was the first ever original Indian web series, portraying the lives of players in the Mumbai Mavericks, a franchise team participating in the PowerPlay League. However, it’s going to be a little more spiced up this time – “Cricket vs Politics.” It’s not going to be Vayu Raghavan (Tanuj Virwani) and Arvind Vashishth (Angad Bedi) in the same team anymore. It’s going to be them against each other!

Created by Karan Anshuman and starring the likes of Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha, the International Emmy Award Nominee Amazon Original series has already created a major hype and we don’t expect it to be anything less than sensational when the cricketers return to the pitch.
