Ever since the dawn of coronavirus in India, there haven’t been any big theater releases which has forced all new features and movies to move to the digital screens. While Netflix and Amazon Prime have been taking all the big contracts, there have been some good movies releasing on other OTT platforms as well over the last few months.
One of the popular ones is Disney + Hotstar and the latest release on this OTT platform is that of ‘The Big Bull‘ starring Abhishek Bachchan, Ileana D’Cruz and others. The movie is based on the notorious Harshad Mehta (Hemant Shah in this film) which is played by Abhishek Bachchan as the lead role.
Directed by Kookie Gulati, the film is getting a lot of hype especially because of the recent series called Scam 1992 which released on Zee5 a few months ago. That series too was based on Harshad Mehta and it’s depicting the same story of a stock broker, the stock market and the dirty side of the business which used to take place in Mumbai in earlier decades.

Read Scoops is yet to watch the movie which released on Hotstar on Thursday, 8th April 2021 but as per reports, Kookie Gulati has had more freedom than Hansal Mehta had in Scam 1992 which makes this a very lucrative watch. The Big Bull uses his power to his gains and that’s well portrayed in the film, except there’s the point that he’s been made to look like a hero unlike the criminal that he really was.
