In 2019, the country was introduced to a new TV web series known as The Family Man. Not many people found it very attractive because there was no star cast as such, but the first season went on to become a super hit and even attained an 8.6 rating on IMDb. After blowing expectations out of the park, they decided to deliver a second season which has finally hit Prime Video today, 4th June 2021.
Now movie and TV show buffs around the world will know that while an initial series can be a super hit, it’s always difficult to have lightning strike twice. The sequel is always tougher than the first part because there are expectations of a million users now. However, initial reports and reviews suggest that The Family Man 2 has hit it out of the park once again, and we’re suggesting you binge watch the season too!
Starring Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni, the first season ends on a good note but we know there are questions still left unanswered and quite a few loose ends still to be closed. All those questions are set to be answered in Season 2 and today, we’ll give you reasons why you should watch the show in The Family Man 2 review. Keep reading for more…

Manoj Bajpayee
Of course, the main reason I’d ask anyone to watch this show is the lead actor, Manoj Bajpayee. He’s one of the most underrated Bollywood actors we know but he’s managed to get a 2nd innings with his digital appearance in the first season of this show. Battling family and anger issues, he manages to stick to what is right and get the job done. Expect a lot of abusive language however from this character!
Samantha Akkineni
In just a few hours of Season 2 of the show being released, fans are calling it the Bajpayee-Akkineni show as the latter has turned out to be the real lethal weapon. Her character is all set to take revenge against the Sri Lankan army which has caused her to lose everything including her family and she’s portrayed that brilliantly in Season 2 of The Family Man.
Highlighting world issues
It’s not just another superficial show or a series that is fictional. Season 2 has gotten bigger and badder, while also highlighting a lot more of worldly issues, thereby spread a lot of social awareness as well. Hell, we’d never have thought of people planning gas leaks in the first season, but it only gets better in Season 2.
If you love your country and if you love Manoj Bajpayee or just good TV content in general, this is the show you should be watching this weekend. With all episodes having released at once, you don’t have to wait. Just go ahead and enjoy this show which is out on Amazon Prime Video now. For more updates, stay tuned to ReadScoops.com…
