Let’s clear it out right at the start, haha. There’s absolutely no news of an Indian version of Money Heist being created. In fact, with such a fantastic show being created, we wouldn’t want an Indian version, or any other version, to be honest. It would just be super tough to match up to what was produced by the original makers.
Spanish filmmaker and creator of the show Alex Rodrigo recently did an interview with Behind Woods where he spoke a lot about how he made the show, from where he got the inspiration and a reason behind a lot of what happens across the 4 seasons of the super popular Netflix show.
What started in Spain is today famous across the globe, including in India. In fact, the interview did touch on the chance of there being an Indian version, and if there was one, who would be likely to suit the character of The Professor the best. It was surprising for Rodrigo to know him but he was quick to choose Ayushmann Khurrana for the role.

Given the hairstyle, the wise look with the glasses and of course the fact that he knows the character, he might actually pull it off if there ever was an Indian remake.
