Yesterday was a bad day for the Bachchan family as the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to announce he had tested positive for COVID-19. Less than an hour after his initial tweet, his soon Abhishek Bachchan also took to social media to announce himself also testing positive for the disease. The father-son duo are hospitalized in Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.
To keep their fans updated, they have been active on social media and confirmed that everyone in their household was also tested for coronavirus. Initially, Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan had tested negative but there was another round of testing done. Now, Abhishek has gone on to update that his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive.
He went on to confirm that his mother Jaya once again tested negative and while he and his father remain hospitalized until the doctors say otherwise, Ash and Aaradhya will self isolate at home itself. Being one of the biggest families in Bollywood, the news has shaken the Bollywood industry and now, fans will also be more careful.

Surely, if such privilege families can be affected, then the common man is not going to be any exception to this global pandemic. It gives the general public a lot to think about and Abhishek too has asked people to stay cautious and protected as cases are increasing by the tens of thousands each day, with the death count on the way up as well.
