Nearly a couple of months back, it as Argentine and Juventus footballer Paulo Dybala who became the first major sports star to test positive for coronavirus, a disease that at the time wasn’t really as feared as it is today. However, it was the first real eye-opener as his teammates including Cristiano Ronaldo had to head over for quarantine because of this.
Six weeks later, Dybala has been tested positive for COVID-19 for the fourth time which is a major blow to is health and to his football team as well. Serie A allowed players to resume training from May 4 and this recent test of Dybala will prove to be bad for the team. Quite honestly, having such a disease for 6 weeks can’t be too good for your body and fitness, can it?
He was the first footballer to get the disease along with Juventus teammate Daniele Rugani. Dybala took to Instagram to share the news wth his fans that he and his girlfriend both tested positive. The league is a French one, a country where over 200,000 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 while 27,000+ have lost their lives to the disease as well.

“It would be much easier to end the season immediately and the scientific community would agree. Carrying on the world of football is a very important thing for our country, but we must do it safely. Remember when Serie A didn’t stop? How many teams have gone into quarantine? The FIGC submitted a protocol and it was considered,” said Vincenzo Spadafora, Italian sports minister.
“Today we’re at the end of April, we can’t know for sure how the virus will evolve and how the rules will be respected, therefore we can’t know when the season will resume. We’ve been working to resume training from May 18, but that doesn’t mean the leagues will start up again,” he added.
